Neuro-affirming support for children, young people and adults. We work with you and your support network to understand behaviour and develop practical strategies for everyday life.

You can ask a question before making a referral.

Understand the person.
Build support that fits.

We look at communication, needs and the environment around the person. Support is shaped with you, around what matters in your life.

Dignity. Choice. Everyday participation.

Practical support, built around the person

From understanding to everyday support.

Positive Behaviour Support brings assessment, planning and practical guidance together. The aim is to reduce distress and support safety, choice and participation.

Understand what is happening

A Functional Behaviour Assessment explores patterns, communication, needs and the environment, with input from the person and their support network.

Develop a practical plan

A Behaviour Support Plan sets out personalised strategies, with the person's strengths, preferences and everyday goals at its centre.

Put support into practice

Guidance for families, carers and support teams helps bring the plan into everyday settings. Strategies are reviewed as needs change.

Start where you are

Two ways to take the next step.

Looking for support?

For yourself, your child or someone you care about. Tell us your suburb or town, state and what you would like help with. We can discuss whether PBS may be a suitable next step.

Ask about availability

Ready to make a referral?

Visit our referral page to provide the information needed for intake. If you are referring someone else, please make sure you have their consent or the appropriate authority.

Make a PBS referral

What happens after a referral?

A clear next step.

  1. We review your referral

Our team looks at the requested service, location and information provided.

  2. We contact you

We discuss your goals, service suitability, funding and current practitioner availability.

  3. We agree on next steps

If we can offer suitable support, we explain the intake process and arrange the next steps with you.

After receiving your referral, we will contact you within 2–3 business days. Submitting a referral does not confirm an appointment or start date.

Before you get started

Questions are welcome.

Is behaviour support only for children?

No. BMe provides Positive Behaviour Support for children, young people and adults. Support is shaped around the individual, not a single age group.

Can I ask a question before completing a referral?

Yes. Use the contact page, call or email the team. An initial question does not need to include clinical reports. We can explain what information is needed if you decide to proceed.

Can I use NDIS funding?

BMe is an NDIS registered provider. Our team can review your funding arrangements and the requested service with you before support begins. Funding suitability needs to be confirmed for your circumstances.

What areas do you cover?

Our practitioners cover selected communities in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales. Listed areas include Golden Plains, Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surf Coast, Colac, Ballarat, Albury–Wodonga, Murray Bridge, the Adelaide Hills, the Blue Mountains and Western Sydney, as well as surrounding communities. Remote and telehealth options are available Australia-wide where suitable. This is not a promise of face-to-face coverage everywhere: please tell us your suburb or town and state so we can check the appropriate practitioner, delivery options, availability and any travel arrangements.

Do you have availability now?

Availability depends on the location, practitioner and support required. Please contact the team for current information before making plans around a start date.

Let's find the right next step

You don't need to have it all worked out.

Ask about support, discuss availability or make a referral. We'll help you understand the next step.

For an initial enquiry, please avoid sending NDIS numbers, clinical reports or sensitive personal details by email. The team can explain how to provide any documents needed for intake.

This is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, call 000.
