Developmental EducationMore choice in everyday life.
Neuro-affirming, strengths-based support for the things that matter to you. We work alongside you to develop practical skills and explore ways to take part in everyday life, with your choices guiding the support.
In-person options around Inverleigh and Geelong, and Murray Bridge and surrounding South Australian communities. Telehealth and remote support are also available, including Australia-wide options where suitable.
You can ask a question before deciding whether to make a referral.
Start with your goals.
Build on your strengths.
What would you like to do more of? What gets in the way? We look at your routines and surroundings as well as skills you would like to develop.
Support should expand your choices, not make them for you.

Skills for the life you want
What could Developmental Education help with?
Developmental Education considers the person and the settings around them. These are some starting points to discuss with your educator; the work is shaped around your own priorities and support needs.
Everyday skills
Break a chosen routine or task into manageable steps. Explore practical ways to learn, organise the day and use skills in the places that matter to you.
Choice & connection
Explore ways to express preferences, make decisions and take part in activities or relationships that you value. Your communication style and boundaries matter.
Change & participation
Think through a new routine, setting or life stage. Identify barriers and plan practical supports for participating at home, in learning or in your community.
Independence does not mean doing everything alone.
Useful support can include changing a routine or environment, not just teaching a new skill. We focus on choice, access and participation, with the assistance that works for you.
People behind the support
Meet our Developmental Educators.
Jade and Sally support different communities. Tell us your location, the person's age and what you would like help with so we can discuss a suitable practitioner and delivery option.
You are welcome to ask about a particular educator. We will check their service scope and availability before an appointment or start date is agreed.
With your consent, we can discuss how the work connects with family, carers or other people already supporting you. You remain involved in decisions about your support.

Start where you are
Two ways to take the next step.
Exploring support?
For yourself, your child or someone you support. Tell us your suburb or town and state, and a little about what you would like help with. We can talk through whether Developmental Education may be a suitable option.
Ask about developmental supportReady to make a referral?
Open our existing referral form and identify Developmental Education as the service you are seeking. If referring someone else, please make sure you have their consent or the appropriate authority.
Make a referralWhat happens after a referral?
Let's work out the next step together.
Understand your priorities
We review your referral and discuss what you would like support with, your location and preferred way of communicating.
Check the right fit
We consider practitioner suitability, availability, delivery options and funding arrangements before confirming a service.
Agree on a starting point
If suitable support is available, we explain the intake process and agree on the first steps with you. Goals can be reviewed as your needs change.
After receiving your referral, our team will contact you within 2–3 business days. Submitting a referral does not confirm an appointment, funding or start date.
Before you get started
Questions are welcome.
Is Developmental Education only for young children?
No. Developmental Education is not limited to early childhood. Please tell us the person's age and the help being sought so we can check whether a practitioner's experience and current service scope are a good fit.
How is this different from Support Work?
Support Work generally provides practical assistance with daily activities. Developmental Education focuses on understanding goals and barriers, planning learning and support strategies, and reviewing what helps participation. They can complement each other, but they are different services. We can help you explore which support fits your needs.
What areas do Jade and Sally cover?
Jade's listed areas include Inverleigh and Geelong, with telehealth available Australia-wide where suitable. Sally supports Murray Bridge and surrounding South Australian communities, with remote support also available. Tell us your suburb or town and state so we can confirm options for your location and support needs.
Can I use NDIS funding?
Our team can discuss the requested service and your funding arrangements before support begins. Funding suitability and any service costs need to be confirmed for your circumstances. A referral does not guarantee funding or an appointment.
Can my family or existing support team be involved?
With your consent or the appropriate authority, we can discuss involving the people you want alongside you. The aim is to make strategies useful in everyday settings while respecting your preferences about who is involved and what is shared.
Can I ask a question before making a referral?
Yes. Use the contact page, call or email the team. You do not need to send clinical reports with an initial question. We will explain what information is needed if you choose to proceed.
Your goals are the starting point
What would you like everyday life to look like?
Ask about Developmental Education, discuss delivery options or make a referral. We will help you understand the next step.
For an initial enquiry, please avoid sending NDIS numbers, clinical reports or sensitive personal details by email. The team can explain how to provide any documents needed for intake.
This is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, call 000.
