Early Childhood Intervention, or ECI, brings support into the activities your child is learning and taking part in. We agree on priorities with you and adapt them as things change.
Play & connection
Explore ways to join in, share interests and communicate needs, while respecting your child's own ways of connecting.
Routines & regulation
Look at the parts of the day that need support, whether that is getting dressed, changing activities or feeling more comfortable in a busy setting.
Support for your family
Talk through practical ideas with your practitioner, try them in everyday situations and review what is useful for your child and family.
Support beyond the appointment.
With the appropriate consent, we can work alongside the people already supporting your child. Tell us about home, early learning or community settings so we can discuss where support would be most useful and what can be arranged.

You can ask about a particular practitioner. We will check their scope and current availability with you before any start date is arranged.
Some families prefer one practitioner as their main contact. Ask about Key Worker support and whether that approach would suit your family.

After receiving a referral, our team will contact you within 2–3 business days. A referral does not confirm an appointment, funding or start date.

Before you get started.
Can I ask for help if I am still unsure what my child needs?
Yes. Tell us what you are noticing and what you would like help with. You do not need a diagnosis simply to ask us a question. We will discuss service suitability and any information needed before support begins.
What ages do you support?
This service focuses on babies and young children. Please tell us your child's age so we can check the relevant practitioner's scope and discuss suitable options. The age range of a service is not, by itself, a confirmation of funding eligibility.
Where can support take place?
Our featured practitioners cover selected communities around Geelong, the Bellarine, Surf Coast and Ballarat, plus Albury, Wodonga and surrounding areas. Home, early learning and community options depend on location, suitability and the arrangements in place. Telehealth may be discussed where appropriate. Please check with the team rather than assume a particular setting or delivery option is available.
Can NDIS funding be used?
Funding arrangements and the requested service need to be checked before support begins. Tell the team about your current arrangements or ask what options may be available. An enquiry or referral to BMe does not confirm NDIS eligibility, access or funding approval.
Can you work with the professionals already supporting my child?
With the appropriate consent, we can discuss working alongside your child's existing team. You do not need to move every service to BMe. We will clarify roles and how information is shared.
Is there a waitlist?
Availability varies by practitioner, location and the support requested. Ask us for current information before making plans around an appointment or start date.
