NDIS Support WorkersSupport that fits your everyday life.

Practical help at home and out in the community, with time to get to know you. We work around your goals, communication preferences and the things you want to do in everyday life.

Support across selected Victorian communities, including Geelong, the Surf Coast, Bellarine and Melbourne's west. Tell us your location and preferred days so we can check a suitable worker is available.

Not sure where to start? You can ask a question before making a referral.

Get to know you.
Support what matters.

A good fit starts with listening. Your interests, sensory preferences and the pace that works for you help shape the support we provide.

Practical help with the things that matter to you

What could support look like?

Everyone's day is different. We discuss what you would like assistance with and agree on support that suits your needs.

Everyday routines

Help with daily tasks, getting organised and moving between activities, with space to practise the parts you want to do yourself.

Getting out & about

Support to attend appointments, go shopping, join an activity or spend time with others. Any transport needs are discussed and checked before arrangements are confirmed.

Building everyday skills

Encouragement and practical assistance to try a chosen task or activity, at a pace that feels manageable. Your own goals set the direction.

People behind the support

Meet the Support Work team.

Our support workers bring different strengths, personalities and experience to their work. We take time to match support with the person's preferences, routines, communication style, goals and location.

Tell us what kind of help is needed, where support will take place and any preferred days or times. We can then talk through who may be a suitable fit and what availability looks like.

We look for the right fit, not just an open spot in a roster. Suitability, location and worker clearance are checked before support begins.

Start where you are

Two ways to get in touch.

Looking for a support worker?

For yourself, your child or someone you support. Tell us your suburb or town, the help you are looking for and any preferred days or times. We can check what may be possible.

Ask about support work

Ready to make a referral?

Use our existing referral form and identify Support Work as the service requested. If referring someone else, make sure you have their consent or the appropriate authority.

Make a referral

From referral to the first shift

Let's work out the details together.

  1. Understand your needs

We review your referral and discuss what support is needed, where it will take place and the days and times you have in mind.

  2. Explore a suitable match

We check worker suitability, clearance and availability, then talk with you about a proposed worker and practical arrangements.

  3. Confirm the first shift

Once the required intake, funding and service arrangements are complete, we agree on the start details so you and the worker know what to expect.

After receiving a referral, our team will contact you within 2–3 business days. A referral does not confirm a worker, shift or start date.

Before you get started

A few questions you might have.

Do you have support workers in my area?

Our team works across Geelong, the Surf Coast, Bellarine, Melbourne's western suburbs and surrounding Victorian communities. Availability varies by location and shift. Let us know your suburb or town and state, including areas not listed, so we can check what support may be possible.

Is Support Work available for children and adults?

Yes. BMe's service supports children, young people and adults. We check that the proposed worker and arrangements are suitable for the person's needs before support begins.

Can I use NDIS funding?

We can discuss your funding arrangements and the requested assistance during intake. Relevant funding, service terms and any travel or transport arrangements need to be confirmed before support starts.

How do you match me with a worker?

We consider the help you need, communication preferences, location and requested times. The worker also needs to be suitable and cleared for the agreed duties. Ruby discusses the proposed match with you; availability alone is not enough.

Will I have the same worker each time?

Tell us what continuity means to you. We consider ongoing suitability and sustainable availability when arranging support, but cannot promise that one worker will cover every shift. Changes and replacement arrangements are discussed through the Support Work team.

Do I need to complete a referral just to ask a question?

No. You can start with the contact page, a call or an email. For an initial enquiry, please leave out NDIS numbers and clinical documents. We will explain what information is needed if you decide to proceed.

A conversation is a good place to start

What would make everyday life easier?

Tell us what you would like help with and where you need support. We'll discuss availability and the next steps with you.

For an initial enquiry, please avoid sending NDIS numbers, clinical reports or sensitive personal details by email. The team can explain how to provide any documents needed for intake.

This is not an emergency service. For immediate danger, call 000.
